Safeguarding & Policies
The safety, dignity and rights of the people we work with are central to Photo 51 CIC. We treat safeguarding, privacy, inclusion and accountability as part of the work itself, not as paperwork after the fact.

Privacy Notice
What personal information we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.
Equal Opportunities Policy
Our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we deliver.
Complaints Procedure
How to raise a concern about our work, and what we will do about it.
Our Values
What we stand for, what we will not stand for, and how to hold us to it.
Safeguarding comes first
We create environments where young people feel safe, respected and able to speak up if something is wrong. Every session is planned with safeguarding, risk and participant needs in mind.
We take concerns seriously and act without delay.
Privacy, consent and media use
As a creative media organisation, we take image, video and audio consent seriously. We only collect and use personal information where it is needed to deliver programmes safely, meet our responsibilities, communicate with participants and partners, report outcomes and improve our work. Photos, video and audio are only used where appropriate consent has been given.
Equal opportunities
We are committed to removing barriers to participation. Our programmes are designed to be accessible, inclusive and responsive to different needs, backgrounds and learning styles.
